94% of you knew that the image is of a bridge and where the bridge is located.
This week's winner of 499 Bucketlist points is:
Joscha Mueller, Energy Technologies.
We can't fool this group. Indeed, this is the underside of the current Centennial Bridge which crosses over Lawrence Road. Note the use of the word current. Evelyn Davies, Ben Reynolds, and Stephen Chan also included the word current in their answer.
The existing bridge was constructed in 1965 and is along a hillside historically known to have landslides. The bridge is deteriorating, and the overpass could be at risk of structural failure during a strong seismic event. But the benefit is the Lab's eastern area research areas will be accessible in case of an earthquake.
